Glass Fusing & Enamelling – Full Day Experience
Arrival: 9:50 AM for a 10:00 AM start
Enjoy fresh scones with tea or coffee on arrival.
Morning Session

Welcome and introduction in the Glasshammer Gallery

Move to the main workshop for a live demonstration
-
Learn how to:
-
Cut glass
-
Layer enamels and glass
-
-
Begin creating your main piece (approx. 350 mm square)
-
Explore shapes, colours, and designs
-
Get hands-on guidance from Michelle, including help with more complex cuts
-
You’ll work on your main piece throughout the morning.
Lunch Break (1:00 – 2:00 PM)

Fresh, healthy, home-cooked lunch served in “The Glasshouse” dining room
Afternoon Session
-
Continue and complete your main piece
-
Create a second smaller piece (approx. 350 mm x 150 mm)
-
Try additional techniques:
-
Copper sheet and wire inclusions
-
Texturing
-
Frit work
-
Glass shaping
-
-
Option to place smaller pieces into the kiln
Wrap-Up (around 4:00 PM)

All work is placed into the kiln and fired
After the Workshop

After 24 hours, your pieces are:

Washed and polished
-
Available for collection or
-
Delivered to Dublin or the Midlands
